Photo Wall Live Wallpaper - Convert Android home screen into personal photo wall

Installation

Photo Wall Live Wallpaper requires access to following permissions during installation:

• Accounts: use the authentication credentials of an account, discover known accounts
• Network communication: full Internet access
• Memory contents of the USB memory and the SD card, delete / modify
• Network Communications: View network status

Photo Wall Live Wallpaper app has a free limited feature version in which advertisements appears periodically within the live wallpaper. To unlock all the layouts and settings and hide the advertisements, you have to upgrade to PhotoWall for 0.79 euro.

Features

Photo Wall Live Wallpaper does not appear as a separate app in the Applications menu, but on the accessible from the Start screen >background> Live wallpapers.

This app will automatically access photos from you phone and arrange them in specific pattern . You can grant permissions to import all images in the phone or just the cell phone camera photos are imported from the mobile gallery. Alternatively, it is possible to import from a specific folder on the memory card. Facebook and Picasa users can also download photos from their accounts in the app.

To design the collages you can chose from the following effects:

The app initially assigns a random to the background images which changes after set interval of time, which ultimately makes the live wallpaper effect on your android phone home screen. It is also possible to open images directly by tapping on them when they appear in the collage on the home screen. One positive aspect of this android app is that in the settings there is an option to suggest new features which the user desires and they get forwarded to developers automatically.

Operability

The app is very simple and intuitive, and ran smoothly on my LG Optimus. As is the case with all live wallpapers this also increases the battery consumption.

Photo Wall Live Wallpaper is a simple but attractive way to create from your own pictures with very own live background. It provides the ability to set different update intervals, layouts and effects. From my tests this android app gets thumbs up.
